Risk Disclaimer
Version 2026-08-15 · Last updated 15 August 2026
1. Important Notice
Trading and investing in financial markets involves a substantial risk of loss and is not suitable for everyone.
You could lose some or all of the capital you trade. Depending on the financial product, use of leverage or margin can result in losses that are substantial and, in some circumstances, may exceed the amount you initially expected to risk.
You should carefully consider whether trading is appropriate for you, taking into account your financial circumstances, objectives, experience and tolerance for risk.
By using the 6AM services, you acknowledge that you are solely responsible for your own trading decisions and accept the risks associated with trading financial markets.
2. Educational Purpose Only
6AM is an educational trading programme.
The purpose of 6AM is to teach a structured methodology, concepts, frameworks and processes relating to the analysis and trading of financial markets.
Nothing provided by 6AM constitutes:
- Financial advice;
- Investment advice;
- Personalised investment advice;
- Tax advice;
- Legal advice;
- A recommendation to buy, sell or hold a financial instrument;
- A solicitation to enter into a financial transaction;
- A guarantee of profit or trading success.
6AM does not assess your personal financial circumstances, objectives, financial position or suitability for trading and therefore cannot determine whether trading or a particular financial product is appropriate for you.
You should seek independent advice from an appropriately authorised financial professional if you are unsure whether trading is suitable for your circumstances.
3. No Trading Signals
6AM does not provide trading signals.
For the purposes of this disclaimer, a trading signal means an instruction or recommendation telling you to buy or sell a specific financial instrument at a particular time or under particular market conditions.
6AM may teach and demonstrate trading setups, market structure, directional bias, trade grading, entry concepts, stop-loss concepts and target concepts as part of the educational methodology.
This educational material is not intended to constitute an instruction to enter or exit a specific trade.
If, after learning the 6AM Strategy, you independently identify a setup and decide that you wish to trade it, that decision is yours alone.
You are solely responsible for deciding:
- Whether to trade;
- What instrument to trade;
- Whether to enter a position;
- Where and when to enter;
- Where to place your stop loss;
- Where to take profit;
- How much capital to risk;
- Whether to modify or exit a position.
4. Market Analysis and Trade Examples
6AM may provide historical examples, educational charts, hypothetical scenarios and demonstrations of how the 6AM Strategy can be applied.
These examples are provided to explain the methodology and demonstrate how the framework operates.
A setup being classified as a particular 6AM grade, including an S Tier, A+ Tier, A Tier or other classification, does not mean that the trade is guaranteed to succeed or that you should enter it.
Likewise, describing a market condition as bullish or bearish does not constitute a recommendation to buy or sell.
Any decision to act on information provided by 6AM remains entirely your own.
5. Coaching
6AM may provide one-to-one coaching to enrolled students.
Coaching may involve reviewing charts, trading decisions, journal entries, application of the 6AM Strategy and hypothetical or historical trade scenarios.
Coaching is intended to help students understand and apply the educational methodology.
Coaching does not constitute personalised financial or investment advice and does not create a fiduciary, investment-adviser or other regulated advisory relationship between you and 6AM.
Where a coach explains how a particular situation would be assessed according to the 6AM Strategy, that explanation is provided for educational purposes.
You remain solely responsible for deciding whether to act on any information discussed during coaching.
6. 6AM AI Assistant
The 6AM AI Assistant is an educational support tool and is not a financial adviser.
The AI Assistant may help explain concepts, answer questions about the 6AM Strategy or assess information that you provide according to the educational framework.
For example, if you provide information about a setup, the AI Assistant may explain how that setup would be classified under the 6AM methodology.
The AI Assistant does not independently monitor financial markets or provide trading signals.
AI-generated information may be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated or unsuitable for your circumstances.
You should independently evaluate any information provided by the AI Assistant and should not rely on it as the sole basis for a trading or financial decision.
7. No Guarantee of Results
6AM makes no guarantee that you will:
- Make a profit;
- Become a profitable trader;
- Achieve a particular return;
- Achieve a particular win rate;
- Achieve a particular risk-to-reward ratio;
- Maintain profitability;
- Pass a trading evaluation;
- Successfully trade a particular financial instrument; or
- Achieve any other specific result.
Trading outcomes vary significantly between individuals.
Your results may differ from any examples, historical results or experiences presented by 6AM or its students.
8. Past Performance and Historical Results
Past performance is not indicative of future results.
Historical examples, backtests, forward tests, live trading results, student results or other historical performance information may demonstrate how a methodology performed under particular circumstances but do not establish how it will perform in the future.
Market conditions can change substantially.
A strategy that performed well during one period, market regime or set of conditions may perform poorly during another.
Where historical performance is discussed, it should not be interpreted as a guarantee, expectation or prediction of future profitability.
9. Backtesting and Hypothetical Results
Where 6AM presents backtested, simulated, hypothetical or otherwise non-live trading results, such results have inherent limitations.
Hypothetical results do not involve actual financial risk and may differ materially from results achieved in live markets.
Backtests and simulations may be affected by assumptions concerning:
- Entry and exit prices;
- Execution;
- Liquidity;
- Spreads;
- Slippage;
- Commissions and fees;
- Available historical data;
- Market conditions;
- Position sizing; and
- Other factors.
Actual trading results may therefore differ substantially from historical or hypothetical results.
10. Risk Management
6AM teaches risk-management principles and advises students to risk no more than 1% of their trading capital on a single trade.
This is an educational guideline and is not a guarantee that limiting risk to 1% will prevent losses.
No risk-management method can eliminate trading risk.
Even where appropriate risk-management principles are followed, a trader may experience substantial losses, drawdowns or periods of poor performance.
You are responsible for determining whether any risk-management approach is appropriate for your own circumstances.
11. Leverage and Margin
Certain financial products, including CFDs, futures, forex and other leveraged products, can magnify both gains and losses.
Leverage can cause relatively small market movements to produce significant changes in the value of a position.
Depending on the product and provider, you may be required to provide additional margin or may lose a substantial portion or all of your trading capital.
You should fully understand the leverage, margin requirements and risks associated with any product before trading it.
6AM does not recommend a particular level of leverage.
12. Financial Products and Markets
The 6AM Strategy may be applicable to or discussed in connection with different financial markets and instruments, including:
- Forex;
- Indices;
- Commodities;
- Stocks;
- Futures;
- CFDs;
- Cryptocurrency; and
- Other financial instruments.
Different markets and products have different characteristics and risks.
The fact that a methodology may be applicable to a particular market does not mean that the product is suitable for you.
You are responsible for understanding the specific risks, costs, regulations and characteristics of any financial product you choose to trade.
13. Trading Capital
You should never trade with money you cannot afford to lose.
You should not use money required for essential living expenses, rent, bills, emergency savings or other financial obligations for trading.
You should carefully consider the consequences of losing your trading capital before entering any position.
6AM does not recommend that you borrow money to trade and does not determine how much capital you should trade with.
14. Market and Execution Risks
Financial markets can move rapidly and unpredictably.
Trading may involve risks including:
- Market volatility;
- Sudden price movements;
- Gaps;
- Slippage;
- Spread widening;
- Low liquidity;
- Execution delays;
- Order rejection;
- Technology failures;
- Internet or connectivity failures;
- Broker or exchange outages;
- Counterparty failure;
- Unexpected economic or political events;
- News events;
- Changes in market conditions;
- Regulatory changes; and
- Other circumstances beyond your or 6AM's control.
A trade that appears suitable according to a particular methodology may still result in a loss.
15. Psychological and Behavioural Risk
Trading can involve significant psychological pressure.
Emotions such as fear, greed, frustration, impatience and overconfidence may affect decision-making.
Behaviour such as overtrading, revenge trading, increasing risk after losses or failing to follow a trading plan can increase the risk of significant losses.
Learning a structured methodology does not guarantee that you will apply it consistently or successfully.
You remain responsible for your own discipline and behaviour.
16. Brokers, Exchanges and Trading Platforms
6AM does not provide brokerage, exchange or execution services.
We do not control the operation, security, liquidity, pricing, execution or financial stability of any broker, exchange, prop firm or trading platform that you may choose to use.
You are responsible for conducting your own due diligence before opening an account or depositing funds with any third-party provider.
You should review the provider's terms, fees, regulatory status, risk disclosures and withdrawal conditions before using its services.
17. Prop Firms and Funded Accounts
6AM does not require students to use a particular prop firm, funded-account provider or trading platform.
Choosing to use a prop firm or funded-account provider is entirely the student's decision.
6AM does not guarantee that you will pass, maintain or receive funding from any prop firm or funded-account provider.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with the rules, fees, restrictions and risk disclosures of any provider you choose to use.
18. Third-Party Information
6AM may reference information, platforms, services or resources provided by third parties.
Such references do not constitute an endorsement, recommendation or guarantee by 6AM.
Third-party information may be inaccurate, incomplete or subject to change.
You should independently verify information before relying upon it.
19. Your Responsibility
You are solely responsible for every trading decision you make.
This includes deciding whether to enter, modify, hold or exit a position.
You are also responsible for:
- Your trading account;
- Your broker or trading platform;
- Your capital;

- Your risk;
- Your trading strategy;
- Your execution;
- Your tax obligations;
- Your compliance with applicable laws and regulations; and
- Any resulting profits or losses.
Nothing provided by 6AM transfers responsibility for these decisions to 6AM.
20. No Liability for Trading Losses
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, 6AM accepts no responsibility for trading losses resulting from your use, interpretation or application of the 6AM Strategy or any other information provided through our services.
This includes losses arising from:
- A trade you choose to take;
- A trade you choose not to take;
- Incorrect interpretation of the methodology;
- Incorrect execution;
- Market conditions;
- Slippage;
- Leverage;
- Broker or platform issues;
- AI-generated information;
- Coaching discussions;
- Educational examples; or
- Any other trading decision you make.
Nothing in this disclaimer excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
21. Independent Decision-Making
You should independently evaluate whether trading is appropriate for you before committing capital.
You should consider your own:
- Financial circumstances;
- Trading experience;
- Knowledge;
- Objectives;
- Risk tolerance;
- Available capital; and
- Ability to withstand losses.
If you are uncertain about any of these matters, you should seek independent professional advice from an appropriately authorised financial adviser.
22. Regulatory and Tax Responsibilities
Financial markets are subject to laws, regulations and tax rules that may vary depending on your country of residence and the financial products you trade.
6AM does not provide legal, regulatory or tax advice.
You are responsible for understanding and complying with the laws and tax obligations applicable to you.
23. No Professional Relationship
Your use of the 6AM services does not create a relationship of financial adviser, investment manager, broker, fiduciary or other regulated financial professional between you and 6AM.
The educational relationship between you and 6AM does not transfer responsibility for your financial decisions to 6AM.
24. Acceptance of Risk
By using the 6AM services, you acknowledge that:
- Trading financial markets involves substantial risk;
- You may lose some or all of the capital you trade;
- No trading strategy can guarantee profits;
- Past performance does not guarantee future results;
